The Assessment module reviews your work products against the standard you target, before production start-up or an external audit.
A review of all work products, from risk assessment to test results, against the targeted standard or regulation.
Product security managers, quality and compliance teams, internal auditors.
All six industries, wherever an audit, assessment or declaration of conformity is due.
Previous: Testing. Next: Vulnerability management. All modules share one product model.
Why an internal assessment matters, where it is needed, which problems it prevents and what the effort looks like.
Before production starts or an external audit takes place, someone has to check that all work products are complete, consistent and match the target standard. A gap found by your own team costs a correction; the same gap found by the auditor, the notified body or the customer costs time, trust and sometimes the schedule.
Cybersecurity assessments under ISO/SAE 21434, conformity assessment under the Cyber Resilience Act, certification against IEC 62443, CSMS audits for UN R155 type approval, and the audits that OEMs and other customers run at their suppliers.
Failed or delayed audits. Surprise findings shortly before production start. Inconsistent documentation across teams, products and variants. And management decisions based on a feeling instead of a clear picture of the status.
A manual pre-audit means experts reading every document and spreadsheet against the standard, clause by clause. It ties up scarce people before every audit and still depends on what the reviewer happens to find.
Every work product in the platform is checked against the selected standard or regulation, and gaps are shown with their source, so the responsible team knows exactly what to fix. One check can cover several frameworks, for example the CRA and IEC 62443 together.
